• In some videogames there has been an option to hang with your friends in a threatre and watch a movie and chatting in voicechat together. Is there something similar for linux where you could get the cinema or gallery experience when watching videos? "multiplayer" would be cool but is not a must.

• For the price of the subscription, the Replikas could look a lot better

  When you consider other consumer 3D experiences like World of Warcraft or Second Life (both of which had better graphics 20 years ago than Replika has today), it becomes evident that Replika under-delivers.   A good analogy is to look at Network Solutions. It's a horrible company that is owned by web.com. Web.com only cares about sales and marketing. The registrar aspects just a path to cross-sell you on bullshit services. Source: 10 months ago

  This sucks. What I liked about Google Domains is that price remained the same year after year. Most registers are owned by a couple companies (web.com or something?) and every renewal it is some jacked up artificial price. $12 for the first year and somehow it is $36+ for the next?
