Based on our record, Datadog should be more popular than Scout. It has been mentiond 5 times since March 2021. Install an apm. I recommend Scout. It will report to you which requests allocate a large number of objects. NewRelic is nice too but I find it to be too much to configure and setup. Scout works immediately out of the box and gives you some pretty good info. Source: about 1 year ago

We're commonly doing this with logging, using services such as Loggly or DataDog. We're using managed databases, be it on AWS, Heroku or database-vendor-specific solutions.
