Settlers VI is functional under Linux using WINE, but I expect Photon would work better. As for Adobe software, which bits do you need? Krita covers Photoshop and Illustrator in one, and we use Saola Animate for our Flash replacement at my digital signage company, which can work under WINE perfectly well, or in a VM. OpenToonz is a free open source program that branched off the premium version in 2016, and has a few well-known movies and TV shows made with it (including a number of Ghibli films, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Steven Universe). Source: 10 months ago
