Tredict Reviews

  1. Performance-focused analytics

Tredict is the most capable, comprehensive tool I've found for analysing fitness and training. It's kind of like a business intelligence package for your legs (although unlike the average BI package it's pretty intuitive to set up_. You do an activity (or plan an activity) and see how it affects your fitness curve. It's designed for athletes who are working with a training plan or a coach, and it really delivers. I used it to prepare for a 200 mile ride this summer, and it helped me take two hours off last year's time - I'm sold.

    ๐Ÿ‘ Pros:    Privacy|Privacy concisous|Intuitive user interface
  2. New on the market

Tredict seems to be new on the market and I am deeply impressed how progressive and stable it is. They are saying datacenter is in Germany, which is very important for me. I just uploaded 6 years of my training history into Tredict and I am just blown away about the detail of statistics of my runs and rides I've never seen before. Next I will try the planning mode, which seems straight forward.

    ๐Ÿ‘ Pros:    High performance|Privacy
  3. Personal support

Trained for an ultra with Tredict. Had an perfect overview about what I did and what I want to do. Extremely detailed insights into my runs in combination with my Forerunner. Love the map with intensities. Very responsive.

  • Richmond Marathon Report: Nine Weeks Between Training Block and Goal Race
I wasn't sure where to set expectations given my interrupted training, but I decided to aim for 3:03:00, as that's where my Garmin and Runalyze predicted my finish. I planned to set out at a 6:55/mi pace and adjust based on feel. Source: 5 months ago
  • Baystate Marathon Race Report: A "BQ" and a 40 minute PR
Pre-race, Garmin estimated a 3:00:xx, and Runalyze, another great website, thought I'd hit 3:01:xx. This was slightly discouraging, but I know they're just estimates so I didn't take it personally. Source: 6 months ago

  • A slightly embarassing question...
I'm currently 5'9" and 82kg and just ran a half marathon in 1:47 a few weeks back. I lost weight while training, but started off barely being able to break an 11 minute mile back in October. The 255 would work just fine for you. If you enjoy the data side of things, there are great sites that link up to Garmin (I use runalyze.com and intervals.icu) for more information.
