  A good way to start with piracy is via emulation and/or ROM hacks. Emulation and ROM hacks are in a legal grey area. There's also a large community for not just emulation, but piracy as a whole, especially on Reddit. Some good subreddits dedicated to piracy or emulation are r/animepiracy, r/3dspiracy, r/emulation, r/PiratedGames, and r/Piracy. Rom Hustler is a good way to get ROMs and MelonDS is a good DS/3DS... • Noobie Needs Help!

  I just got my deck yesterday (!), and I'm now trying to get PS3 games to work on emudeck. I've downloaded the PS3 firmware from the Sony website, and I've downloaded a couple games from romhustler.org, but I can't get it to work.   The Pocket is a great device, highly recommended, get the Dock if you want to buy one. While waiting, I recommend using https://openemu.org/ on your Mac to run "roms", which are files that represent old games. To get the ROMs, google for "tubrografx roms archive.org". It's a frontend for multiple Nintendo/Sega/Retro console emulators at once (Nintendo handhelds up to DS, and consoles up to Gamecube), and works completely out of the box with controller support.
