  • [LPT request] Finding an apartment/house rental in a rural area
I am planning to move to a rural area for a graduate program, and it's been very very difficult to find places that aren't old dumps or overpriced luxury apartment with itemized charges. My current lease expires July 31st - and I am suspecting that there may be rentals that are not showing up in places like apartmentrental.com or rent.com . What is the best way to find such rentals? Also, will there be more... - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
  • renting a house - help!
You can rent.com or apartments.com and filter to just houses and get an idea of cost. I would start looking closer to 2 months before as a lot of places want 30-60 days notice when tenets move out so they will know when their places will be open and you can try to sign a lease. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • Degenerate slum lords a huge concern here or no?
Now that you got the tantrum out, go on rent.com and look for apartments do the math on what you make as a paycheck and check prices. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • I am a nurse and cannot afford to live.
I did a rent.com search for denver and found 2 bed 2 bath cheaper by a fair amount than she listed. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
  • Apartment shopping sites
I think apartments.com and rent.com are pretty good options. Downtown is probably your best option for a place that is walk-able and has a city vibe. I don't know what your budget is, but places near Forsyth Park would give you pretty scenery and you'd be close to a grocery store. Alternatively, they've been building some apartments near the Savannah River that might be of interest. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago

Zillow mentions

  • How do I survive this?
Next, brainstorm a budget. Go to zillow.com . Enter your budget. Find a house near you that you can move into ASAP. or, tell someone you know to get off there butts and buy a house near you for you to move into. (PS: this is probably and is crazy advice). - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
  • Studio (or 1-bed) apartment reccs for a carless uncultured grad student?
So around Danforth you have United Provisions on the Delmar Loop, which is a smaller international grocery store, but is decent. Other than that it is already a little bit tough with walking distance, but you can always take the bus or the metro. Metro brings you to whole foods in the CWE, or to Dierbergs in Brentwood (other direction, if you are willing to walk 10 mins from the metro station in Brentwood there is... - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • Apartment / Neighborhood Recommendations
I think apartments.com is the easiest to use, but zillow.com is my second choice. Craigslist I think is more sketchy, but what do I know. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • Moving to Schaumburg soon
Housing is relatively expensive. $1000 - $1500 minimum for a one bedroom apartment. If you are looking to buy, an older ranch home usually goes for over $300K. You can check all of this on realtor.com zillow.com or similar sites. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • When someone tells you to shoot a real gun at a range instead of airsofting
That's when you go to zillow.com sell your house and move the fuck to south Dakota with 200 acres of land or sum shit, no more ROs and a lot more fun. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
