  • Valkyrie CTF out now! 5592-2164-9849
Imported a model from Quixel Megascans and followed this YouTube guide on how to create multi-layer terrain! You’ll create a custom material and when it comes to the grass creation section you use the static mesh you import from quixel. Definitely took some playing around, so I recommend working on it in a test project. Source: 12 months ago
  • I worked on this animation for the last few days—still WIP. Constructive criticism is appreciated! Rendered with Cycles.
Most models (axe, trees, and stump) are scans from quixel megascans. I just placed the raw scans into the scene. Then I scatted moss, leaves, and some other foliage on the ground with Scatter 5. I also animated the falling leaves with Scatter 5. I finally filled the background and foreground with plants from the botaniq add-on. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Where do you get your materials from?
But of course there will always be cases where this is just not possible or economically feasible to do (It can be very time-consuming) so I've got a subscription to Poliigon as well - They've got very high quality materials, textures, HDRI's and models too and a very nice thing about their site is that you can pick exactly which 3D software and which render engine you're using, so you get a tailored product for... • My first attempt with Archviz
    4) Lacks interesting props. Look at poliigon.com or 3dsky.org for examples of kitchens with more intricate props. Source: over 1 year ago
  • A growing sprout (cycles)
Made with geometry nodes, following a Bad Normals tutorial. The HDRI lighting is from hdrlabs.com and the ground texture is from poliigon.com - the leaf model and texture also belong to Bad Normals. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Winter Cabin
Nice :). Yes, I added falling snow in post. Ground is snow material from poliigon.com. Rest is done with poly snow plugin. I tried tyflow and forest pack with blobmesh, but poly snow was easiest and fastest way to add snow. Source: about 2 years ago
  • How do yall make videos in the backrooms,
    - you also need to learn how to animate walking or fps at least which is pretty easy and also I think you should honestly use poliigon.com for models (not sponsered). Source: about 2 years ago
