Tuta Mail is the secure email provider with automatic encryption built in. It focuses on security, privacy and open source. Tuta Mail is known as the best ProtonMail alternative as it is the largest encrypted email service in the European Union. German data protection laws which are even better than [Swiss privacy laws]({https://tuta.com/blog/swiss-privacy-is-an-illusion}) make Tuta a great contender in the field of secure communications.

No issues with email deliverability so far, and very cost effective. There is also usage-based billing which starts at 4$/year and should end up cheaper than the flat rate for most use cases. No extra cost per domain and scriptable email routing. The admin panel doesn't look very modern, but works well. Has TOTP and FIDO 2FA support.
Great app for a free service. Standard security features. Hosted in Germany.
Based on our record, Tutanota should be more popular than Purelymail. It has been mentiond 177 times since March 2021. I'm really pleased with Purelymail so far. It's very minimalistic, reliable (I can't remember if I've ever had any sort of downtime at all!), and dirt cheap: $10/yr if you're on simple pricing, and usually even less if you pay for usage (my usual monthly bill is around 50¢, give or take, so something like $6/yr). https://purelymail.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 2 months ago
Https://purelymail.com/ https://mxroute.com/ https://www.vfemail.net/ https://runbox.com/ I know this because I have spent time looking the past week for getting off Outlook.com. I've basically settled on Runbox.com as it seems to be the most established and stable. - Source: Hacker News / 2 months ago
I pay for Purelymail. Base price is $4 a year and then you pay for usage. Or you can pay $10 a year and not worry about paying for usage. Unlimited domains and users, although it is rather clunky to setup. Source: 9 months ago
I just discovered purelymail.com but am still testing it myself. It seems like the developer is very eager to improve his product and has the absolut best pricing I know of. Source: 10 months ago
You might be able to configure SPF and DKIM to mostly work with Cloudflare as receiving MX and your other mailbox elsewhere spoofing outbound messages, but I think such a setup will be unavoidably fragile. I'd look into something like Purelymail, personally (and when it looked like the free-tier Workspace was going to be nuked for personal users, that was my backup plan). Source: 10 months ago
A look at tuta.com and tutanota.com demonstrates that Tuta is using an Amazon Start of Authority (SOA) DNS record and 4 corresponding Amazon Name Server (NS) DNS records. Source: 4 months ago
I've moved on to Ferdium by the way via the ferdium-electron AUR package. I also use Tuta, Skiff, Google Messages and YouTube Music with it. Source: 4 months ago
Unfortunately, since you launched the new tuta.com website, I can't access anymore from China, unless I have a VPN service. Source: 4 months ago
Have a non business paid account. Can you change your current tutanota.com email to the tuta.com email? Source: 5 months ago
Weeks ago when tutanota became tuta I had same issues...wouldnt allow me log in. I clicked links provided by tuta to "migrate" data...never worked. Few days later...i was able to log in at https://mail.tutanota.com/login and continued until today, when my credentials were not "valid" anymore so tried at tuta.com and same thing.
