Use privacy addons on your browser (PrivacyBadger, uMatrix, Decentraleyes, FB Container, Disconnect, etc), drop google for somethings else (like DDG, qwant, etc). Switch your emails from gmail to proton. - Source: Reddit / 8 days ago
  • Facebook trackings are embedded into Newsletter Subscriptions now? Or e-mail fields in general?
Privacy badger is a simple browser plug in tool that solves many, not all, of the issues involved with tracking. Couple that with ublock origin and you will become harder to track. Unfortunately any plugin actually increases your browser fingerprint, but those should keep sight-to-sight tracking to a minimum. - Source: Reddit / 16 days ago

A safer way to dl games (et al) is prolly to use direct downloads (ddl) which can be found everywhere. No info shared. If you go looking I'd recommend using uBlock Origin & NoScript as a minimum; some (all) of the bigger ddl sites are usually financed with pop ups / ads etcs. I'd also recd using jdownloader. I have never had a copyright notice; I'd estimate my use is about 1% (obscure af) torrents, tho. Treat... - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
