One thing you will need to do for yourself is buy the domain name. There are lots of good places. I’ve been a fan of Porkbun and Namesilo. Now Google Domains is closing up and transferring to Squarespace but I just received an email that they do not support Dynamic DNS (DDNS) so now I'm looking to transfer my domain again. Check porkbun.com, namesilo.com, then namecheap.com. They offer most but not all TLDs but each offers a few the other doesn't. There are some that none of them offer so you can try GoDaddy but they're pricey. Those three are among your best bets for long term low pricing. Source: 5 months ago
218,691 registered domains. [1] $3M/month. M as in million, not mille [2]? Mille is still commonly used in accounting [3] $36M/year is $164.61 per registered domain per year. Porkbun [4] offer .ai $72.40/year. Even 3 letter domains don't seem to have premium pricing. Something in this unsourced tweet, literally, doesn't add up. If you want to save even more money, you can register your first year on a registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.) when they have a sale and then transfer the domain to Cloudflare. The best possible price for any TLD can normally be found on TLD List. This will only be cheaper than Cloudflare for the first year. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
