  • Possible Stupid Question 🤷‍♀️
It's avaialbe for PC, MacOS, Android and iOS, though you can redeem them through pokemon.com website as well. They are digital versions of the same physical cards. The idea being you could play against your friends or stangers with the same physical cards. In addition, pokemon live has ranking and rewards so you can earn diiatl booster packs or earn digital decks for play. Source: 9 months ago
  • Why are some Japanese 151 booster boxes unwrapped?
To meet the extremely high demand, they have manafacturing locations in several places in Japan (pokemon.com didn't elaborate more than that) for cards for the japan market. I couldn't find the original post on the pokemon.com website (it was a couple month's ago), but this site reprinted it https://www.pokebeach.com/2022/09/pokemon-japan-takes-action-against-resealed-booster-boxes. • My 6 year old son wants to go to a pre-release
Not sure if it's the same with your venue but ours required pokemon.com "Let's Play" IDs. You'll need to create your account on pokemon.com then add your child to your account at which point you can get both of your "Let's Play" IDs. This is helpful for the organizers to work out who goes to juniors/seniors and masters brackets. Source: 10 months ago
  • Welp! My morning started off great. Never had this problem with Amazon before.
Also dont buy from amazon... Buy from pokemon.com or anything on tcgcollector. Source: 10 months ago
  • What's an experience you've had that no longer exists?
Browsing the internet before google. Immagine trying to find sites to read without a search engine. nintendo.com sega.com pokemon.com trying to find relevant domain names to your interest yet have it yield almost no reward, a basic site outlining their products. Source: 11 months ago

  • I'm proud of my confirmation bias! Who's with me?!
Yeah that is my beef with Google. I get WebMD might have a bit more info than howayahuascahealseverything.com , but smaller sites had more niche information. For me torrents, Yandex, and https://theoldnet.com/ are how I jam. If I need something simple I am not going to cry, but I find those sources much more unique (not so say that all are reliable, but it is surprisingly hard to find hobo websites now, but not on... • Things to do on WINDOWS XP VM?
Don't log into any accounts but apart from that you should be safe within your VM. As to what to do you could play old games, look at old websites through theoldnet.com, listen to old songs through win amp and stare at the visualizations(bonus points if you're high). Source: 11 months ago
  • Feeling bored of the internet, nostalgic, or want alternatives to Google? Here's a list of search engines!
Lastly, if you're here because you miss the old/small web, try using Marginalia Search, Wiby, High Browse, or explore new frontiers through Gemini. There's also TheOldNet and Old'aVista, ProtoWeb, and Neocities. Source: 11 months ago
  • Dreamcast browser shows pics as Checkmarks
Are they loading over HTTPS? I think the dreamcast browser is too old to really support proper secure protocols these days. You can try loading it through http://theoldnet.com/ and see what it makes of it. Source: 11 months ago
