I recommend omio.com and checking train prices in cp.pt and flixbus and https://rede-expressos.pt/en/ for bus prices. Within Lisbon you will have to see what works better depending on where the bus or train takes you. Source: about 1 year ago

I was trying to book some tickets from Barcelona to Madrid for a family trip in April, but somehow at the checkout time, I always got this error, it's been a day. Agree with all of that. Though with flights, you can also optimize a lot if you have enough lead time: I recommend https://skyscanner.com/ Trains are nice if you need to transport anything of volume, if you stay longer than a day or two so you can amortize the travel time, if you have lots of run-up time, and probably cheaper if you travel a lot.
