NYT Cooking VS Photofeeler

I know it sounds crazy to pay for recipes when there are so many free cooking websites and youtube channels, but everything is tested and the instructions are clear for beginning cooks. There are whole sections for weeknight meals, chicken, pasta, vegetarian, etc. And thousands of recipes in the database so you'll never run out. Source: 7 months ago

From there I'll go to America's Test Kitchen, NYTimes Cooking, and Milk Street. Milk Street is the (relatively) new project from Chris Kimball, who used to head ATK and has more of a focus on everyday cooking and international cuisine and has produces a few gems for me (and is also an absolutely excellent place to buy supplies and tools). Add Simply Recipes and New York Times Cooking (although with that one, you only get a certain number of recipes for free each month, then you have to pay.) I do pay for New York Times because I found myself using their recipes so often that I was running out of free ones each month. They publish really good, solid recipes. Source: over 1 year ago

So I ran 3 separate tests on photofeeler.com under the dating category just to see how I fared. The first test got 23 votes, the second 24, the third 43 for a total of 90 women my age voting on if they found me attractive or not. Approximately 6% of women found me attractive. I found photofeeler.com to be absolute gold in evaluating pics. You not only get 0-10 ratings on things like attractiveness, but raters also get the option to leave specific comments and the comments I got were amazingly useful. I recommend cycling through them every 2-3 months or so. That allows you to see more new people rather than continuing to pay and not seeing new people. Also, I think the app algorithm will present you more if you are a new member. I've had the most success with Bumble and Hinge. Less so with Tinder.
