• Where to find actual good Netflix torrents?

  Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand, if you just go to netflix.com and subscribe to their 4k content you don't get the 4k video, you need a streaming box or some kind of dedicated program. Perhaps to stop pirates... But think about how many poor sods are paying for quality they don't even get. Source: 5 months ago

• Cant access some sites

  Anyone have issues accessing some sites? Just to let everyone know its happening on every device in my home not just one. For example I cannot get to imdb.com I get 403 error but I can get to netflix.com. I can get to all sites if I connect to a vpn first. So its something with atts network but not sure what. • Trim extension (Chrome, Firefox) not showing Metacritc reviews anymore

  I love the Trim extension for Chrome/Firefox to show reviews of Netflix movies inside the netflix.com site. However, several weeks/months ago, the Metacritic reviews stopped showing up.   Honestly? I use https://beets.io/ to organise all my FLAC on my NAS. I expose the /Music directory over NFC. I use https://kodi.tv/ to stream music to my amp. I manually pick the album I want to listen to. Kodi also has a fairly reasonable web UI. Keep it simple. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago

  Kodi sounds like what you're describing. You connect it to a tv and it can play media from your network, or use add-ons for internet streaming. I'm not sure if it includes the most popular streaming services, but I suppose you could use a browser for those. Source: 11 months ago
