15 game streaming services you can try before Google Stadia arrives
Rainway is a game streaming service that allows you to remotely stream games from your preexisting Steam, Origin,, or uPlay libraries, and its claim to fame is the web: you can stream games directly to a web browser window, as well as Mac or Windows PCs or Android phones, with an iOS version planned for a later date. • Steam Client Beta gets support for PipeWire desktop capture for Remote Play
Did you already try the Moonlight - Sunshine combo? It's not as plug and play as parsec but once it's set up it should be close enough. - Source: Reddit / about 20 hours ago
  • How would playing games through vnc over ssh or rdp over ssh?
If you have an nvidia card, you can also look at using moonlight: - Source: Reddit / 11 days ago
  • Help With Enlisted on Steam Link
Another option, if you're just using the default Steam apps, is to try using Moonlight. It's an app on Android that allows you to stream your games from desktop to phone remotely, this time using Nvidia's Gamestream technology. I've used it to much greater effect over Steam Link; nowadays, I only use Steam Link or Steam Desktop streaming from computer-to-computer, since Moonlight works better for desktop-to-phone... - Source: Reddit / 12 days ago
  • Has anyone tried playing GGST through Steam Link?
But hot tip: Try Moonlight Game Streaming. It's an app available on the Google Play store that can play all the same games as steam link but has less latency and maybe even higher image quality. If you can download it it to your viewing device and have GeForce Experience on your PC, it's a better option for gaming. - Source: Reddit / 15 days ago
  • Game streaming via GeForce Now has come to Singapore! (basically allows you to play games run on high end graphics cards, on any hardware (even old laptops or phones))
I've been using Moonlight which is open sourced for a few years now and it's great. - Source: Reddit / 15 days ago

  • Is there a free way to replicate Stadia/Luna/xCloud?
In my opinion rainway is the best one, I literally have less than 4ms of delay over wifi. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • Has anyone tried running a personal cloud pc setup?
I think where the money is from is their non-gaming branch. Check out their main page: They don't really specify pricing or exactly what they do, but it seems like they're licensing the use of their software to other businesses for their specific application. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
  • Mirror computer games from PC to Apple TV?
Take a look at Rainway: With Rainway you can stream almost every game to your Apple Tv. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
  • I’ll say it. Gamepass on iOS iPhone sucks.
I spent some time digging into this recently. Xbox Cloud Gaming is built with Rainway. The Rainway client (running on your phone) is decoding video frames and audio on-device. Based on some of the code I read (and what I remember), this is at least partially to determine how in sync it is with the server. It may also be decoding them for other reasons, but this is almost certainly what causes the excess heat on... - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
  • What the most amount of storage I can put on the ctr-001 original 3ds? And does it only have one slot for storage because I've seen on the new one it has two separate locations one for micro and one for sd?
Las question is there a way where I can stream my pc games through my 3ds? Like Rainway? - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
