  • Making 3D models 100% solid
To add a bit to what others are saying. Mesh mixer is sometimes a great tool for some of this. Source: 7 months ago
  • strange wavy patterns, don't think its z banding
Ah right. If you can't get the source file, you could try smoothing them out in meshmixer. Source: 10 months ago

The quickest fix I know is to use the free meshmixer. Source: 12 months ago
  • Editing STL files
There are programs such as Meshmixer specifically intended to do that, others such as Blender which can do a good job (but beware of missing surfaces or inside-out triangles) and some CAD programs such as Fusion 360 which have the ability to convert meshes. Even Tinkercad can make some changes. It's always better to get a CAD file in a common interchange format such as a STP (STEP) file if you can, though. Source: about 1 year ago

  • What do you guys think of my art?(honest criticisms)
If it’s any help there are a few applications you can use to help with poses. If you’re on a mobile or tablet I recommend Magic poser (tho I’ve never tried it, I’ve seen others I know use it) and on PC you’ve got DesignDoll. Source: 11 months ago
  • Current trend is posting your artwork with art supplies to prove it's not AI. Well..
Better still: the input image doesn't have to be a real image. You can use pose tools like Magic Poser to create one. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Betrayed by AI.
This is the app btw. I've experimented with it a bit because I suck at drawing figures lol https://magicposer.com/ you can see for yourself that it is not the same as entering a prompt. Source: about 1 year ago

Yea it's a lot. If you want to do it regardless, you can make a concept sketch, as long as your character and potentially their stand are humanoid, it shouldn't be too hard to draw them in a t pose. You conceptually know what a human looks like and can also look up references/use magicposer, the really really hard part with humans is giving them any semblance of depth in a final drawing. But you won't need to do... Source: over 1 year ago
  • How can I get my foot in the door as a college student?
Sixth and final tip - use references. A lot. Need a nice room? Turn on The Sims, put some furniture, use a screenshot from that. You get any angle you want with right proportions. Characters? There are tons of posing programs, there are even ways to extract pose from a photograph into a 3D model in some modern drawing programs. This speeds your workflow A LOT and if you are interested in professional artist... Source: over 1 year ago
