Your paths are "fine", but they're not great. If you have multiple drives, you might also be interested in mergerfs to skoosh them all into "one" path, like /merge. Source: 11 months ago

It enables you to pool virtually endless drives without the hassle of assigning to folders and exposes all of them to applications as just one drive (it has other features as well).
