Then to find x, you just do this (typing this so it is easier for mobile users to click). Finding X isnt the only thing you can do, but this is just one of the amazing things you can do. You can basically do all math in there. If you suck at something in math, you can probably just figure out how to make excel do it for you. Now, if you're doing it for real, the best and also most common method is simply, "use a computer". Many computer systems are really, really good at solving these equations and inequalities. You can also graph it and see on the graph every time it crosses zero. You can even do it for free without fancy software.
