If I try to make a new email address under the same name, it says it is occupied. Recovering your email then is very unlikely at this point and you might want to change your usernames and passwords for everything that you can think of - Other email accounts, bank accounts, PayPal, social media etc etc as the hacker may be able to get into your email accounts if there is any information that they can use within the mail.com account.   I too use a catchall address... And I'm always disappointed when Fastmail doesn't take all of the addresses that I get email sent to, and turn them into masked emails automatically! I guess masked emails are for people who dont have a custom domain and want to use their fastmail.com address, with some kind of email forwarding. Source: 10 months ago
