Try mixing in key. It changed my whole sound. But limits what can be played. I use Mixed In Key to look through my entire library and match up songs I normally wouldn’t have thought to. Source: about 1 year ago
I’ve made a practice of scanning my sample library with Mixed in Key and have each sample labeled with a code [Key&BPM] so that I can search for compatible audio clips with ease. I have taken the liberty of labeling each file with the BPM and Key for ease of use, however they may not be entirely accurate as I am using Mixed in Key to automatically detect this stuff as it would just take way too much time otherwise.
