I’m wondering if there are any attempts for a ROS2 client library for Julia(lang)? I very much like the concepts of Julia and would like to use it in my robotics applications. I believe, that writing code in Julia is very efficient and productive. As a robotics engineer and researcher, I would definitively appreciate the possibility to use ROS2 with Julia. If you are really committed to running on Apple hardware then take a look at Tensorflow for macOS. Another option is the Julia programming language which has very basic Metal support at a CUDA-like level. FluxML would be the ML framework in Julia.
