  It's not free, but I'm a big fan of JRiver Media Center and have been using it for many years. It is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Your license will last forever, but you do need to pay for major version upgrades (once-per-year). I'm an audiophile with a substantial library and I'm personally happy to support efforts like this, but I get that paying isn't for everyone. Source: 11 months ago

  I suspect another commercial product, JRiver Media Center, might be more flexible than Mezzmo (less arbitrary about what you can and can't do), but it sounds like the Android and Android TV client is probably a mess. I've never done a setup with it. Source: about 1 year ago

  Many media players support ripping 1 disc at a time at least. Even Windows Media player can rip to wave and FLAC. Foobar2000 is a good option here. I personally have my library in JRiver, which isn't free, but I've been happily using it for many years. Source: over 1 year ago

  Out of curiosity, I checked to see if it would allow me to add a year to my existing yearly subscription, but that was not allowed. I expected that outcome since the playon.tv website indicated it was for new yearly subscriptions, "YOUR 1ST YEAR". Source: almost 2 years ago

  I have tried something like this before using obs ,i just used my phone and a usb c to hdmi cable to the capture device from phone to computer.i cant remember what I copied I just remember it was netflix and I had to start obs recording a few seconds before and after recording.i think I recorded in 1920x1080 and it worked fine.i only did it like once or twice since I discovered playon.tv .when I bought that... • How can I remove the DRM of episodes/movies downloaded from Disney+ on Android?

  Have you looked at playon.tv it was a life saver for me when I wanted to download movies from my streaming sites I have a subscription too. It esentially just records the video in 720 or 1080 its a paid service but I find it works very well.so you might look at the other options to that have been listed here besides mine.i just wanted to add mine because it has really helped me. • Can't cancel Playon Cloud

  This appears to open Safari to playon.tv but the page is black. Closing the page or touching the back arrow takes me back to the Playon app. I don't see any way to cancel the plan. Anybody know what to do now? Source: almost 3 years ago

• terrible quality recording

  That definitely doesn't look like a standard movie site that playon.tv supports and they'd discontinued the screen capture portion of their app a few downgrades ago. You've got a ton of apps running, perhaps even several tabs within each open browser, have you tried recording with fewer apps running to see if this changes the recording quality?
