Disabled all add-ons then worked through the list enabling each one-by-one. Found the culprit Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar Plus 1.10 which is unfortunate as the principle reason for me switching to Waterfox was to have this legacy of multi-row bookmarks where I have the contents of my Bookmarks toolbar displayed across my screen in five rows.
