  As a side note - I have been using https://inkarnate.com/ and it has a lot of cool features for making maps. The Portrait or Landscape options with a 10x13 or 13x10 grid is pretty similar to the hero kids grids and prints well on regular letter sized paper.   Astral Tabletop https://astraltabletop.com currently has my attention. A free account is somewhat limited, and I can imagine you may need to only have uploaded whatever assets you need for the next session due to space limitations, but it's easier to use and way more pretty than anything else I've tried.
