I use WP Rocket to help with site speed and they recommend Imagify. I've been trying it out on a client site for the past 2 months and it's gotten the job done without sacrificing too much quality. Source: about 3 years ago

Hi not much help on the transferring site but I personally export from LightRoom at 70% then use https://imagify.io/ to compress on the site and even my DSLR shots shrink rather nicely and still look great! Source: about 3 years ago

This will have a serious impact based on that kind of database. A good caching plug-in like WP Rocket should help with the overheads and speed things up. If you have server side caching like memcached or lighspeed make sure you are utilising it. Source: 12 months ago
