All I can find on the status of Armbian images for Helm v1 hardware is in the farewell message at thehelm.com: "We are still working on firmware updates for v1 servers to run Armbian." I am very much looking forward to having my v1 server running a Linux server so I can repurpose it, and for all other v1 owners to have that same option. I guess it depends on which parts they need to be better. From a functionality standpoint I would list, hey.com, fastmail and icloud as better. mailbox.org is better on being a traditional mail host you access using your own client (no wierd bridge app). hey.com and icloud are US hosted if that matters to you. DuckDuckGo is really good when it comes to privacy, but just as bad as google with showing information. Even though it doesn't tell you most of the top results on DuckDuckGo are ads, they paid to be the top results. It also tends to filter out non politically correct information. Google is notorious for manipulatively tailoring search results. If you want to search controversial subjects try out something like mojeek.com or presearch.org and you'll likely get dramatically different results. These also respect privacy. Source: about 1 year ago
