• This might be a repost but I was wondering if on there was a program (linux debian based) that would allow you to make searches on youtube for videos (preferely based on mpv) kinda line ani-cli for gogoanime ? (or if there's a way to repurpose ani-cli to search on youtube)

  I say this everytime when qb + mpv comes up, but in my experience youtube-viewer opens URLs a lot faster than if you would just use mpv (you can test this from the commandline, mpv/youtube-viewer $URL — be sure the appropiately configure youtube-viewer first, so that it directly launches mpv). It also has a pretty nice config for storing youtube-related playback preferences. Source: almost 3 years ago

  I use FreeTube also. This is what I am using on my Mac. They have the app for Windows, MacOSx64, and various Linux OSs. No app for iOSs but maybe if we support him he may want to go further. On my Android tablet and phone I am using Grayjay, which also is another alternative. Source: 5 months ago
