I believe there are some kinds of applications for which SQLite isn’t as widely used as I think it should be, for example, web applications. SQLite can handle bigger loads and more use cases than many people would give it credit for. And it’s the simplest option in terms of deployment and distribution. You could take newsletters you follow and put them inside any RSs reader using https://kill-the-newsletter.com A lot of news site still have feeds. OK, not all of them.
