freeCodeCamp grants certificates to candidates after they finishing a topic/chapter which can enrich your portfolio However, if you are looking/preparing for jobs, leetcode is better
LeetCode is the best platform to help people practice solving coding problems and prepare for technical interviews. The main users are software engineers. LeetCode has over 1,900 questions covering many different programming concepts.
Free Code Camp might be a bit more popular than LeetCode. We know about 575 links to it since March 2021 and only 513 links to LeetCode. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. Sites like ReviewNPrep, FreeCodeCamp, and HackerRank have tons of challenges that allow you to practice JavaScript concepts by building mini-projects and solving problems.
