Flipgrid might be a bit more popular than Quizizz. We know about 12 links to it since March 2021 and only 9 links to Quizizz. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Flipgrid is amazing for short recorded commentaries (I suggest ~ 5 minutes) and then you don't have to listen to death by presentation over multiple class periods. I advise giving students a specific point of focus and a structure (theme or stylistic feature). Source: 4 months ago
I will echo the suggestion of flip as a possible tool to facilitate what you describe. Source: over 1 year ago
I teach composition, and I use Flipgrid for student-created videos and discussion responses. Students seem to really enjoy seeing and hearing their classmates - particularly knowing how to pronounce someone's name. Source: over 1 year ago

But, rather than thinking generically about discussion, I prep assignments based on goals and outcomes. I choose tools and formats based on what I’m trying to accomplish and rarely does a traditional discussion board assignment work. To make quizzes, I use https://quizizz.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
We blocked blooket outright. According to goguardian it was 30% of our total internet traffic(more than google classroom and our student landing page combined) and after a day of observation most of that usage was non-instructional. After teachers were given several warnings about classroom management, administration gave me the go ahead to block it and offer alternatives. Which were: Quiz... Source: over 1 year ago
Where else can a website store user data to show it / process future visits based on it when the user is not logged in? A common place is local storage, however where else can a site store the data which stays there even after clearing cookies? I'm curious since a teacher sent us a quiz link at: https://quizizz.com and I wasn't not logged in, and even after clearing all cookies and browser cache it was still able...
