   A real winner for graphic tablets !

   I use Mypaint since many years, for graphic palets worskhops with children , and I have just positive feelings about it. Many tools, rather easy to use, and great compatibility with my Wacom. Recommanded.

• Opinions on character details?

  Thanks man, I gotta blend/blur out those far away flowers. It kinda looks like those flowers are an optical illusion! I use firealpaca, it's a free app https://firealpaca.com/ (used Krita previously but I didn't like it). I draw on a $40 huion tablet that's about the size of a sheet of paper. • About recoloring stuff

  Hey guys! So I've been receiving some comments about the spritepacks and stuff- I'm actually afraid of sharing them since it could be seen as stealing and changing someone's job. I'm not great at coding- like at all. I've tried python once and.. I'm really bad at it. But I could actually show you how I recolor all those ribbons, dresses, even hair.. Mostly anything! • Any creatives struggle with creating clutter?

  For anyone wanting to try digital art for cheap, I've been using the free program Firealpaca for over a year and love it. Better than photoshop for my purposes by far, lightweight enough to run smoothly but has a ton of great features. I also got a little Huion tablet for around $30 that works wonderfully.   I use firealpaca: https://firealpaca.com (there is a bit of a learning curve but most of your questions are googleable) I do in fact trace snips from google maps lol. Source: over 1 year ago

  Essentially, I've found the more time you have to spend spend learning the apps and/or using its tools, the less time you have to actually enjoy the art of creating. Try apps that cut down the friction between you and your art; Krita, MyPaint, etc. Would be my first suggestions since they're free, then maybe ArtRage, or Sketchbook Pro if money is not a concern. • Simple Art Program for Linux (not professional program)

  Mypaint (http://mypaint.org/) is simpler to use than Krita. Krita can be 'simplified' a bit by closing some of the unnecessary docked tools on the right. Source: almost 2 years ago
