  If memory serves, in order for Tesla to help fund the installing of Tesla chargers you have to be willing to have the chargers listed on the "findus" section of their site, so if the chargers aren't going to be offered to the public, then I wouldn't go that route. Source: almost 2 years ago

• tesla.com/findus no longer has a filter for superchargers open to non-teslas

  Tesla's website used to have a filter to only show Superchargers that are available to non-Teslas. That filter has since been removed. Source: over 2 years ago

• Superchargers fully occupied traveling on i80, almost 15 minutes wait on average. I think opening to other EVs a bad idea.
