As for the bottom pinned window with TotalFinder and the drop down terminal window with iTerm. Actually, I'm doing the same with iTerm, but not for the Finder window. I thought about it when using TotalFinder, but never opted for it. I should try more at a point, but to give you an idea of another application that could help you a bit in this regard (to pop a Finder window from a shortcut). It's not like a pinned... I'm still happy with Apple Notes for its integration with all of Apple Apps, easy sharing with family members, etc. I have tamed it more as an ephemeral and quick Notes App. The notes that starts there are usually transferred to a more permanent and organized Plain-Text setup[1] (currently guardian-ed by Obsidian). Hey! I want to create a WYSIWYG Markdown editor similar to the one in the Bear app. I understand that this could be a challenging project. As I have very little experience with iOS/Swift (I'm an ML engineer), I just need an overview of the tools/frameworks I should consider using to build this technology.
