Everyone.net mentions (3)

  • Are there plans to get rid of Crossbox in the future?
Crossbox is good but I'm just interested in any white label ability for the webmail interface. I used to use everyone.net back during the turn of the century and I am used to having the white label features they had as default on their service. Source: 10 months ago
  • Webhost snafu - how to not lose my domain?
I have webhosting for my domain through everyone.net. As near as I can tell, what happened was they got bought out a year ago and transitioned all of their users to their new system. My primary email was on an old email I don't have access to anymore - I was younger and more foolish so I was using a work email from a job I left like 15 years ago. There was a billing issue and the domain was locked out. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What happened to everyone.net?
Anyone know what's happening to everyone.net? We got an email a week ago that they're being acquired by Hostopia. As things develop, we find out this is happening wicked fast (like 3-4 weeks from now for "hundreds of resellers and hundreds of thousands of email accounts" to be moved). Nobody seems to want to answer the elephant-in-the-room question of what happened to make this happen so fast. Source: about 2 years ago

  • A list of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS offerings that have free tiers of interest to devops and infradev
DNSExit - Up to 2 Email addresses under your domain for free with 100MB of storage space. IMAP, POP3, SMTP, SPF/DKIM support. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
  • DuckDNS is down again, seeking alternatives for multiple domains
I've been using DNSExit since 2011 with no problems. Source: 5 months ago
  • Hosting a simple static website
You can ask your ISP to give you a static IP address to your router, some charge for the service, some don't. The alternative is to use something called a Dynamic DNS (DDNS) service. They will give you a small utility that checks your external IP address every couple of seconds. As soon as it changes it updates the DNS records for you. I use DNS Exit but there is a choice of others. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Self-hosting a website
DDNS will take care of any changes your ISP makes to your internet facing IP address. I use DNS Exit but there a number of others. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What do most of you server owners use the servers for
There's a few other companies out there doing it - most raised the pricing significantly after a few years forcing me to move on. I've used: dnsexit.com, dyndns.com, no-ip.com over the years. Source: over 1 year ago
