DWServiceYes, it is better than TeamViewer for RASPBERRY PI. More specifically, Raspberry Pi 3B+. Tried TeamViewer before but it was so slow, not about the connection but something about the processing power required by the TeamViewer. DWService is smoooooth. It is web-based (unlike TeamViewer) to access the remote client, and it requires agent installation on the remote client which is easy in Raspberry Pi, and also Windows PC.
Based on our record, Chrome Remote Desktop should be more popular than DWService. It has been mentiond 94 times since March 2021. I was using Chrome Remote Desktop, but when I reinstalled the system I couldn't get it working again. Now I'm using dwservice.net. The agent gives you a file browser, a shell, a text browser, and a full desktop all within a browser instance. Seems to work well for my purposes. Source: about 1 year ago

I use ipvanish on steamdeck for pirating movies and shows. I also use google https://remotedesktop.google.com/ to control my work computer without having to to go through windows l2tp vpn or cisco anyconnect. You just need a a browser plugin on the pc you want to control called Chrome Remote Desktop. Source: 11 months ago
I help my mom all the time. She just bring up https://remotedesktop.google.com/ and then select the option to get help to generate a code. You just need to use chrome browser on another machine and enter the code. You should get a pop up asking for permission. Once approved you should be able to remotely control the Chromebook.
