5 Best Microsoft Whiteboard Alternatives
DrawPile is an open-source and free whiteboard app available on Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. It has no mobile version available. At its heart, DrawPile is a sketching tool with collaboration features. Inviting is a different story. You will need to share your external IP address and password for that. DrawPile offers a nifty guide on how to host a collaborative session.

  • Inkbase: Programmable Ink
    > 4. The software is still bad. There is still no native cross-platform sketchpad application with collaboration features built in, that will let me conduct a three hour online research meeting with dozens of pages of math. Browsers will inevitably crash, and are just slow. Any experience with https://drawpile.net/? - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

Jam with your crew in Drawpile. You can invite people and draw together on the same canvas. Just set up a discord chat and have fun. https://drawpile.net/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Add custom color palettes to GIMP and Inkscape

  • Why can you swap Sans with Patrick so often, tho?
For PC, GIMP is grátis (costs zero), but personally I suggest either Krita or Drawpile depending if you want it full-featured or one that just works, respectively. Source: almost 2 years ago

GlobalComix mentions (27)

  • Hi everyone, I’m new to comics and would like suggestions on where to read digitally if you wouldn’t mind
For sure there's the big 2 subscription services, but there's also a lot of good indie comics(for free & paid) on globalcomix. There's a wider variety of stories than just cape stuff, but there are plenty of those too (including mine). Source: about 1 year ago
  • The next Comxiology?
That's largely what Global Comix is. The confusing thing, though, is that it used to be clear that they had an unlimited membership program (similar to Comixology Unlimited) on their main page, which I thought was their main model for reading, but now I don't seem to see that unless I bring up a comic listing that requires payment to purchase. There's an option to join an unlimited reading program at that point,... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Thoughts on Canvas Week?
Hey! I recently learned about https://comicfury.com/, so I'm thinking about moving there. Also https://globalcomix.com/ seems to be way kinder to non-romance comics. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Any comic subscription services available in the uk?
Global Comix is probably the closest alternative to Comixology Unlimited and is an entirely subscription model. It started picking up steam after the Comixology mess-up last year, but it still doesn't have many big name publishers involved (Top Cow, Heavy Metal, Humanoids, and Valiant are some of the more well known ones).
