Alfresco might be a bit more popular than dotCMS. We know about 1 link to it since March 2021 and only 1 link to dotCMS. I am 100% biased, but I would recommend dotCMS (dotcms.com). They are an excellent platform for managing massive amounts of content, and I know a few news sites use them, including some of Thomson Reuters' sites.
