Dolly app is specifically for moving things. I haven't tried it yet but I've heard good things from furniture stores. Did you ask at the desk? Sometimes they have recommended delivery companies, I used to recommend 2bigformycar but I had a bad experience, maybe it was just me, the guys were kind of jerks and rude. Source: over 1 year ago
Affordable moving companies that go out of state?
Hi 👋, I just moved from Indy to Chicago a few weeks ago. I was going to use Two Men and a Truck, but they quoted me $3800 for a one bedroom apartment. So instead I just rented a 15' U-Haul and used this app called Dolly, which is like Uber for hiring moving help. I need to get some living room seating in my new apartment, but don’t have help to get a couch up the awkward tight staircase. Could a futon be worth it? Are there any cheap ways to get a couch delivered?

So really, you should have or easily be able to obtain everything you need. If you're still 100% unsure, most U-Haul locations can do a "pre-tow inspection for you" to let you know for sure. If you use the location finder on uhaul.com, click on a location, and under features it should say "Free towing inspection" - all corporate locations and many dealers (independently owned) offer this.
