  • Losing Points… as someone who doesn’t have a PC/Laptop, and only do the rewards on the Xbox + Mobile. I lose 110 daily points, this adds up a lot over time. Is it worth investing in a laptop for this?
Thanks for the https://deviceinfo.me/ link! Very useful. Source: 12 months ago

No, it changes the user agent to Linux (android) or Mac (iPhone) to get the desktop site of the webpage. A handy site to check it is deviceinfo.me. Source: 12 months ago
  • Do banks know what you have login to based off cookies or only same ip?
Https://deviceinfo.me would illustrate it better. Source: about 1 year ago
  • The FBI now recommends using an ad blocker when searching the web
I can add 1 more extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/privacy-tweaks/indpljpndioefdhmhafebdcddigbogbn/related) and it will block nearly everything on deviceinfo.me that 'Aggressively block fingerprinting' on Brave does. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Questions about extensions that change fingerprint and UA string
Sites like https://deviceinfo.me are able to detect when I try to spoof my UA string or OS with UA switcher. deviceinfo.me would tell me my "True OS" and "True Browser Core". Using Chameleon however, deviceinfo.me could not detect my true OS or true browser core. Source: about 1 year ago

  • Fingerprinting and DNS leaks

  • Will DNS server's geolocation = my geolocation on any services?
So...I registered an account on a website that is only available in certain countries using VPN. And I checked both https://ipleak.net and https://dnsleaktest.com , both websites said I'm connecting from the country I select to. Source: 5 months ago
  • Odd DNS behavior
This seems to work, except when it doesn't. If I run an extended test at dnsleaktest.com from my laptop, it shows I'm only using NextDNS. But if I run it from my iPad I get a bunch of IPv4 AT&T DNS servers returned. I have verified that my iPad is configured to only use the RB5009 as its DNS server. Can anyone tell me why or how it might be picking up all these other DNS servers? Source: 6 months ago
  • Xiaomi phones wifi connected but no internet, but other devices have internet (thru wireguard gateway). Why?
On my Windows PC and my ios devices, if I connect them to the separate wifi, they have internet access through such gateway (checking it with dnsleak.com and dnsleaktest.com ); but my two Android phones (Xiaomi Poco F1 and Mi10T pro), on the same wifi connection have no internet access. Strange. I did check their ip address, dns address, they all use the same subnet and same dns address as on my Windows and iOS... Source: 6 months ago
  • OpenVPN for routing only specific streaming app Android TV
Route dnsleaktest.com 255.255.255.255 I suspect that there is some DNS leakage which is giving my location away to the streaming service. Is there some way to stop the leakage but still have specific URLs that should only use vpn? Source: 7 months ago
