Doctor On Demand, too, is accredited by the American Telemedicine Association, and its therapist roster is filled only with psychologists (Amwell and MDLive both employ psychologists as well as other mental health professionals). But at $180 per 50-minute session, it’s the priciest service we tested (though like our other picks, Doctor On Demand accepts insurance). The site...

  • Is it legal to have a virtual consultation with a doctor who is practicing abroad!?
There are actually a few German Apps/virtual services for dermatology. Where people can upload pictures of their skin conditions to get doctors advice. Like https://dermanostic.com/ and https://www.dermafy.de/ and a few more. I remember reading news articles about these a few years ago. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Has anyone had experience with dermatologists while being publicly insured? I wanted to consult a dermatologist for severe acne and due to the lack of them accepting public insurance, I was given a wait time of 6 months. Is this normal?
Try something like https://dermanostic.com/. It will cost you, but might be better than waiting 6 months for an appointment. Source: over 1 year ago

  • In Need of a Quality Therapy (that accepts Blue Cross)
Psychologist: Try Dr. On Demand app: https://doctorondemand.com/ This will give you access to a much wider breadth of psychologists outside of the Sac/CA area, and you can simply just pick a different person each time without having to go through the hassle of driving/etc. Source: 9 months ago
  • Where can I get an antibody blood titer test done?
For online dr appointments I’ve used https://doctorondemand.com several times with great results. $79. Source: 10 months ago
  • I was just fired. I really need few kind words right now.
Psychiatrist - You can refuse the treatment options they offer and ask for alternatives, or suggest your own. You should tell this psych, if you decide to keep them, that the side effects from the meds are too strong and you do not like them. Then ask to go back to your old treatment plan and be firm about it. If they go so far as to refuse to see you walk away, that is not a good physician. Source, I work in... Source: 11 months ago
  • Alternatives to OneMedical?
Your insurance might still cover it https://doctorondemand.com I had good experience with them and it’s super quick. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Needing a mental health diagnosis asap
Doctor On Demand App is a telehealth provider that accepts Tricare and they treat anything from a cold to seeing a mental health professional. My experience with them so far has been amazing. They are quick, you can schedule an appointment or do a “walk in”, and you can do it anywhere. Hope this helps. Good luck! Source: about 1 year ago
