  • Forge has a major bug and support has spent 30+ hours ignoring the issue while we're locked out of databases.
I don't know if your opinion of services like Forge has been soured by what you went through, but I highly recommend checking out Same as Forge but slightly cheaper and has a Discord server where the owner (Dennis) is there to help; he's such a lovely guy and it's the support that really makes the difference. - Source: Reddit / 23 days ago

  • Best way to host a medium scale Laravel application
For every one who wanted to deploy new laravel app, the best and affordable for me is to go with free tier AWS EC2 provisioned trough which make things easy to manage server with a lot of built in features. In one click you can upgrade your ec2 instance for better performances. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago

  • Data Migration Workflow from Stage to Prod
So I'm fairly new to the Laravel world and I'm really loving the concepts and layout so far! Devops methodology has been a little less easy to pick up however. With languages like Node or Python I can use Cloud Run but I'm not a Docker pro yet, so I ended up going with EC2 and for pushing my code changes. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
