I've looked at OBS Remote and macrodeck.org, deckboard.app, but these are all for changing scenes on the same device. I'd like something similar to a Crestron switch panel, but on my Surface Pro 4 instead. Source: 10 months ago
Also, if you do not have an Elgato Stream Deck, it has way more compatibility with Deckboard and MacroDeck (apps that let you use your phone as a Stream Deck). Source: 10 months ago
Https://deckboard.app/ I've been meaning to try this software. It turns your phone into a macro board. But you have to install client software to get it to run. I'm wondering if the Linux version of the client would work on a Samsung tablet. Source: 12 months ago
Hey Novean! enjoy! I use on a old tablet with this app and on my PC the receiver side, https://deckboard.app/. Great fun, makes the game more immersive...I have mine with lots of the ArchHud's functions and makes the game flow so much easier. Source: over 1 year ago
Phone or tablet would be best bet for chat and controlling OBS. Check out Deckboard for a free application similar to Streamdeck to control OBS and your computer in general. https://deckboard.app/. Source: almost 3 years ago
Or use Companion to control the Hyper Decks/ Ki Pros…. Source: 9 months ago
We use Companion on every show—can’t remember how I did one without it. As long as the gear you are using is supported, you can’t go wrong. Very easy to setup and use. Highly recommended. Source: 10 months ago
Can probably do this with Companion. Often used with stream deck but works with a phone too afaik. Source: 12 months ago
Companion is a great way to approach complex macros like these. Basically you'd stack several actions to your one button, like this:. Source: 12 months ago
I use a Stream Deck daily to control AV production gear using BitFocus Companion (https://bitfocus.io/companion). I am constantly surprised at the range of supported equipment. Complex operations that used to take three people can be done by a single person. For a basic example: Audio operator fades out background music and brings up video playback audio channels. - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
