  There are countless videos on YouTube around how they play at the tabletop, but I think the best place to start would actually be dndbeyond.com. You will be locked to the basics, but you can get an idea from character building there because you can create characters and see how stats impact rolls and explore class features.   For the character sheet, I took screenshots of the sheet from our current campaign and just slapped them all into one big image. We're playing in the Foundry Virtual Tabletop software with the Tidy5e and Inventory+ modules. I think those are the main ones affecting the appearance and layout of the character sheet.
