monday.comProbably a 10 year user of Cozi and loved it until they decided to "improve" it with a totally new version, We have used that one since it came out and it is a simple DISASTER! Entries hang up and nothing happens for minutes- and I just left one running while I went to lunch. Still cycling when I came back and I said "that is it for Cozi"!!!! Going to set up a new one TODAY!
It's a great tool for planning tasks conveniently. It's pretty straightforward to use, which is a big plus. You can tweak it to fit your own way of doing things, which is handy.

With the newer, online work management tools that have project management features (ClickUp, Monday.com, etc.), several have free versions and you have the ability to create a custom field that you can use for the assignee, ignoring the built-in field that requires a licensed user or guest. I'm thinking about using small to medium group projects in my classroom to teach students the basics of project management (breaking big tasks into smaller ones, assigning roles, identifying dependencies, estimating effort/duration, tracking progress, etc.) I can do it using google sheets, but I was curious if anyone here has leveraged online tools like monday.com, Asana, Trello, etc. In the educational space.
