I do. You can use ClamWin if you want an AV local to the machine. I typically keep the retro computers on their own network that can't communicate with my home one. Just use common sense. You'll probably want to try RetroZilla on 98. If you're comfortable with your 98 PC connecting to a modern machine on your network, WebOne has given me more browsing capability across any browser. Been trying to find this for days now. I have spent hours on archive.org going through internetware.com, quarterdeck.com, qdeck.com, symantec.com when it was purchased etc. I've found some links for a Y2K upgrade iwc313.zip however it was on an ftp site so not archived, and the folder does not appear to be on the archive of ftp.symantec.com taken around 2015. Sitedirector.symantec.com is a Virus pop up It has HTTP instead of HTTPS so do not go on it if you see get guard.io A malware spyware trojan and hijacker remover sitedirector.symantec.com is a copy of the regular symantec.com BUT A VIRUS its might be some type of spyware or maybe you have compromised your pc.
