The simplest way if you just want the music off it is to use something like cdparanoia on linux (or similar like EAC), and compress with FLAC. Use a drive that's in the accuraterip database if you want to be sure. But that won't capture pre-gap info so if you take those files and burn them back to a disc it won't be exactly the same. I use dbPoweramp suite of software, it includes PerfectTunes which has the ability to do the album art as a large batch of files. I think you can pay for perfectTunes separately. Anyway, it’s almost automatic , just have to double check it got the correct album art before fixing the files. Source: about 1 year ago
