Popular campgrounds open for reservations months in advance—and sell out in minutes. But many of those campsite reservations get canceled. So, we built an app that scans sold-out parks for new availabilities and sends notifications about them. Since we did, we’ve helped campers all over North America find campsites that might have otherwise gone unused.
To create a scan, visit https://campnab.com and search for the place you want to camp. You then note your arrival date, length of stay, and how you want to pay. Once you’re done, Campnab scans that park for an opening that matches your needs. If it spots one, it notifies you with a text message.

Campflare is a free service that will send you a text when someone cancels their campground reservation.
We need to talk about campground reservations. Bots and scalpers have plagued our National Parks and public lands by purchasing reservations as soon as they become available. Tech should not decide who and who doesn't get to enjoy the outdoors. It's time for a change. Regulation and captchas are not the solution — tech will always find a way around it. The only way to stop the scalpers is to drown them out. Campflare is a free service that will send you a text or email when a campground becomes available. It's free, and it always will be.
|Details $||paid $10.0 / One-off (We also offer monthly and annual memberships)|
|Filtering||Apply filters to your scans to customize alerts to your rig|

I heard about this site through a friend and decided to give it a try. The site met and exceeded my expectations. I received exactly what the the site said they would deliver!!! The site is very user friendly (I'm not tech savy) and I was able to book a camp site during each time period I specified. I have referred this site to my friends. I love that it is owned and managed by local residents in the Lower Mainland who are avid campers and understand what we want and need. Great job, all round!!!
We took a cross country national park road trip this summer and we were in despair because all campgrounds were booked at Glacier, Grand Teton, and Rainier. Stumbled across Campnab and within short order we had camp sites at all three parks, including the very hard to get Many Glacier campground! Highly recommend Campnab, its an absolute vacation saver!
Found this site two summers ago and it is a gem. I have used it for two summers now to get campsites that would be impossible to get otherwise. Worth every penny. Make sure you are prepared when they text you a site because people are fast at booking. If that website needs a login, make one first so that you can speed through checkout. I think to date, I have only missed one out of like 10-12 camp trips due to not getting a camp spot. Customer service is amazing to if you have questions.

BTW: We recently added scanning for backcountry permits on Campnab. We don’t scan for all of them (because that’d be hard and will take time). That said, we can scan for a fair number of them. 🤙. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
To help us get an advantage in finding a site we signed up for Campnab, a service that lets you sign up for text notifications when booked out campgrounds receive cancellations. Long story short, it's totally worth it I have nothing but great things to say about it. We found a 5 day cancellation and booked our first choice campground within a couple weeks of signing up for text alerts. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago

You could get on campflare.com and set alerts for campgrounds - your highest chance for success is for selecting multiple days and picking 1 night stays, you may have to bounce around campgrounds but it has always worked for me in the past. It also seems like campground cancellations are more frequent when the smoke comes in. - Source: Reddit / 4 days ago
Try https://campflare.com to get a reservation, they will text you for free when someone cancels their spot (happens a lot). Good luck! - Source: Reddit / 16 days ago

Option 1 - Fly into Flagstaff, surprisingly not much more expensive than Vegas or PHX. Any of those is fine, more flights to Vegas, PHX about an hour shorter drive. SWA flies out of Manchester I believe, but you may have a closer airport. If you book a tour with anyone, beware of "Grand Canyon West." This is NOT the National Park and many reviews are not good. Book rooms on the South Rim through... - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
But there are notification services; you are informed a site has opened and then on you to go there and reserve. Whether that's fair, I won't say, but there is an open source project to provide that service: https://campflare.com/ Their idea is that if some people do get a leg up on reserving, it shouldn't be limited to people with the means to pay for that service. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
