There are websites that let you configure a build with components you buy and assemble that let you know if any aren't compatible with others. You could use as a guideline. https://buildmypc.net/. Source: 12 months ago
Of course...there's also the risk of something being broken or almost broken. Personally, I'd always buy the parts and build it myself, but some people, old and young, are afraid of venturing into that, and the whole pack might be cheaper than what the buildmypc.net is showing. How I did it. 1. Buy all the components and use an online pc part compatibility checker like buildmypc.net 2. Bring it to my local pc repair shop. 3. Pay the man 80 CAD 4. Pick it up 2 days later. Source: over 1 year ago

I know I still need a power supply (which one should I buy?), do I need something else?, are all my parts compatible? (I checked them on buildmypc.net but some of them weren't available on the site), do you have some advice? Source: over 1 year ago
1)Is it wise for me to solve the problem buying and putting together the components of a given build found online?(e.g. Using choosemypc.net build generator , taking a build advertised by some influencer...). Source: about 2 years ago
The other website you can try is https://choosemypc.net/ which you answer a few questions, enter a budget and then it will spit out a build which you can tweak. I don't know how the crowd around here feels about it however. Source: almost 3 years ago
