In general, Planable is great and I feel that it saves me a ton of time. It's very simple to use, and as I have a staff to work with as my agency grows, I'll appreciate it even more.
My favorite aspect of Planable is how simple it is for my clients to approve posts, even though it's simple to set up and use. I must also add that I like how smoothly the phone app functions.
Planable.io might be a bit more popular than BrightLocal. We know about 2 links to it since March 2021 and only 2 links to BrightLocal. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

As far as tools go, ahrefs.com is what I use the most, followed by Google Ads Keyword Planner (free). I have some local clients so I also use brightlocal.com but that probably isn't relevant in your case. There are other tools out there but ahrefs.com has backlink data, an audit tool, and keyword research + tracking, which is really all you need.
