Blockchain VS Blockchair

I used blockchain.com back in 2015. I remembered back in the day they gave you a private key for all your addresses. Looks like they don't now with their newer wallets. Source: 5 months ago

In blockchain.com u dont actually own the address, you can access your account, but the address is all blockchain property, so they choose which address you have access to and so forth. Source: 5 months ago

I use blockchain.com as the receiving wallet because they wallet address changes often and some of these ghetto ass sites don't let you withdrawal to the same one more than once. Source: 5 months ago

This is anecdotal and I have no idea what it means for SOFI business wise or stock wise moving forward but they just sent me a notice that they are no longer offering any forms of crypto buying or investing and they are selling/giving their current crypto customers to blockchain.com in a few weeks. Coinbase gave me an address to deposit my btc into and when the funds were sent there from the sender, the funds never arrived in my account. Upon consultation with coinbase, they tried to tell me that the address I supplied was not associated with my coinbase account, which is CLEARLY was. Sounds like you can just use a blockchain explorer like blockchair for this. Just open your address and see your transactions and current balance. For example this BTC portfolio. Source: 10 months ago

How did you obtain the address that you want to send to ? Did you transcribe it, or scan it from a QR Code or copy paste it ? Does it start bitcoincash: ? what happens if you interrogate the address by entering it into blockchair.com ? Source: 10 months ago
